file restoration
To successfully restore an archived file we must provide three types of information.
file meta data
The file path is searched in the file meta data. The found record relates to the encrypted data, which must be transferred from various storage systems.
encryption keys
To decrypt the data we must provide the system with the necessary encryption keys that were recorded in the backup step.
encrypted data
The archive contains the encrypted data which must be transferred to the local machine from various storage systems.
